HydrINS II

HydrINS is an easily deployed and cost effective flow meter providing highly accurate bi-directional measurement for water distribution and raw water pipelines. Robust, watertight and compact, it features a highly accurate electromagnetic sensor and an integral transmitter enabling multiple telemetry options or simple totaliser. The highly versatile unit is widely used throughout the world and available in various lengths to suit pipe diameters from 100mm to over 2000mm. It is equally well deployed for permanent or portable applications, inserted through standard under pressure tapping, with no interruption to supply. BSP and NST threads are available.

HydrINS can be used throughout the water distribution network, metering at resevoirs, treatment works, pumping stations, irrigation, water pipes, zoning and DMA implementation, night flow monitors and meter testing. Winfluid software (PC or PDA) provides easy programming, download and data analysis. The unit uses stainless steel electrodes to enhance measurement accuracy and avoid drift, and features a re-enforced stem with anti-ejection chain, locking nut and insertion point clamp to ensure correct and safe installation on a pressurised water network.

Permalog+

Permalog enables water suppliers to quickly and efficiently locate leaks in the water network. Loggers are deployed in areas of the distribution system to provide continuous monitoring of leakage. Easily installed on pipe fittings, they are retained in place by a strong magnet and are powered by low cost replaceable batteries. As soon as a potential leak is detected, the Permalog unit enters an alarm state and transmits a radio signal to indicate a "LEAK" condition.

The effectiveness of Permalog technology has been proven again and again in some of the harshest conditions on earth. Loggers are immersion-tested to IP68 and will continue to operate even in flooded chambers. Water suppliers can monitor 100% of their distribution system confidently and effectively, enabling leakage to be reduced quickly, and easily maintained at a low level.

Multilog

SMS/GSM Data Logger KEY

MultiLog is the most comprehensive, advanced and flexible data logger yet. It can be supplied with up to four inputs for monitoring any combination of digital or analogue signals. Cellular telemetry versions are available with additional battery capacity, to provide two, four or ten hour/day “power windows”for loggers to receive calls from office PC/server or mobile phone.MultiLogis completely water proof, fully battery powered and will require no maintenance for at least five years.

Patroller II PC

HWM’s world leading Patroller II system enables data transmitted by Permalog+ leak noise loggers to be collected wirelessly in a moving patrol vehicle. The dedicated radio receiver is equipped with a rechargeable battery, leak alarm and LED display for battery life and communication status.

The Patroller II can be set up and operated using a PC or laptop running dedicated software. This removes the requirement of having to program and retrieve data using a PDA device before uploading it to a separate PC for analysis. Naturally, the PDA option is still available if required, but the new software can now perform both tasks, enabling the complete operation to be performed with a single PC/laptop. This enables data to be entered on a keyboard rather than a stylus, which is quicker and easier.

Patroller II PDA

Permalog enables water suppliers to quickly and efficiently locate leaks in the water network. Loggers are deployed in areas of the distribution system to provide continuous monitoring of leakage. Easily installed on pipe fittings, they are retained in place by a strong magnet and are battery-powered for up to 10 years.

With over 200,000 loggers deployed worldwide, the effectiveness of Permalog technology has been proven again and again in some of the harshest conditions on earth.

ControlMate II

Pressure control is the simplest and most immediate method of reducing leakage. However, without electronic control, a PRV (Pressure Reducing Valve) must be set up to ensure a guaranteed minimum pressure to the critical (usually highest) point in the network under "worst case" maximum flow conditions. During periods of lower flow, this set up leads to higher pressures than are necessary.

Active pressure management using PRV controllers enables pressure to be optimized with changing demand. ControlMate 2 is a low cost controller that enables the pressure into a zone to be switched between two pre-set values ("low" and "high") according to the demand (flow rate) or the time of day. This often achieves immediate and dramatic water savings and enables the PRV to be controlled reliably and safely.

The HWM ControlMate range of PRV controllers can be supplied with a Hydraulic Actuator - a patent pending device used as the interface between the electronic controller and the hydraulic PRV.
